Wich would be a better choice of aling with? T'rang or Umpani? If I join both I'll risk getting caught by that pesky Z'ant(read a post about that). I'm with the Umpani right now and chose not to be with the T'rang.

You can ally with both and do all missions except the last "destroy the other guy" mission of each. If you do that, there's an opportunity for an additional quest that gives a pretty good XP payoff. To avoid getting nailed by Z'Ant, you have to pay "hush money" to one of the NPCs; after that, make sure you initiate all conversations with Z'Ant by taking the appropriate object out of inventory and clicking it on him. All of Z'Ant's quests (except the last) are of the "go get something and bring it to me" variety, so you'll always have something to show him.

I never had a problem with doing both sides. I simply turned in the certain NPC and that took care of everything

But yes, it's worth more overall to do both sides and then bring about the alliance between the two (it can be done, really).

If you do want to ally with one as opposed to the other Id choose the Trang.

Why? The destroying the aircraft quest is really cool. Fighting your way out of Mt Gigas is incredibly challenging ( it might be the most challenging thing in the game)

Destroying the breeding device is not nearly as impressive, and exterminating all Trang is not that hard.

How do I bring an alliance between the Umpani and T'rang? I've just finished doing all except their last quests? Spoilers are totally welcome.

No spoiler is really needed; like most other key plot waypoints in Wiz8, the situation and requirements will hit you in the face at the appropriate time. As long as you follow the "golden rule" of "always talk to all friendly NPCs", you can't miss the answers to questions like "Where can/should I go next?" or "What do I need to do to make happen?". Of course, the "go next" question usually has multiple answers, but the NPC interactions will always reveal the available good options.

Well, that was supposed to be "to make " and "<" and "x" and ">" and "happen"; apparently the x-in-angle-brackets got interpreted as a meaningless HTML tag and was ignored. Guess I need to change expression idioms.

To simplify matters, just pay a visit to the Rapax Away Camp. The rest will be quite obvious

I'd like to make a point that I haven't gotten that far into the game. I have done all except the last T'rang and Umpani quests. Should I go to the Rapax Camp or Castle now? Where are they?

If you aren't a Rapax Templar yet, then first go to the Rapax Castle and join up. After that, go to the Away Camp.

The fast way to the castle (sorta) is by using the T'rang Teleporter. Keep in mind that all the regular Rapax hate your guts and will try to kill you. You'll have to fight your way through them to the castle, then inside the castle, as well. Once you become a Templar, though, they'll leave you alone.
