What s hould abilities be a for a solo sorc?

What should my strength and int. and all that be? and also i should put points into quarter staff and what else?

High dext, int, and wis. 18's would be nice. This isn't really any other stat you need to have.

Put points in quarterstaff and sling. IMHO

Hi Arathor!

A solo Sorc needs a high Dexterity (18 or 19 -- be an Elf!), good Con (16) and decent Int (15). You need the Int to be 15 to get the +10% XP bonus for having a high Prime Requisite... otherwise it's useless. Wisdom will influence your game if you use the Limited wish and (in ToB) Wish spells, so I'd advise putting 16 in Wis.

Str and Cha: whatever you feel you need. The class demands nothing.

Not with the Ring of Human Inflluence available so early in the game. It automatically takes you to 18 regardless of your score. If you go to buy something, just slap it on.

I forgot (as Nift stated) Constitution should be 16, no higher because you don't get the bonuses anyways.
