How do you beat sepheroth on Kingdom Hearts

There's one point where he is invulnerable, or you may just have a low level and low atk. It's been a long time since I fought him, but I think he may try to block your attacks sometimes. I also think you don't get anything for beating him except a massive amount of exp.

Also, do you have scan on? I think he's got 5 or 6 bars of health, so it may not go down until you do a full bar's worth of damage.

And if he starts waving his arm around and something appears over your head, be sure to have that ability where you go down to exactly one health instead of dying. That spell will kill you instantly if you don't have that ability on. You can interrupt him while he's casting it, but he usually flies to the other end of the area before starting it. It also depletes your MP, so you'll have to use an item before he can hit you again, or he'll kill you.

Your attacks do damage it is just his life bar is incredibly high. I suggest thist tactic you jump up and Quick Glide towards him and he'll most likely move foward and attack. When he moves back after attacking stop the glide and start smacking the poor foo! Repeat and you will see him casting a spell I think it's called Sin Harvest. Do whatever you can to go and hit him because if he finishes the spell you will have one life. To find more on the stratgey go to ffextreme.com

I have tried doing all of these things, but I can't seem to kill him. After he does that spell, I superglide away and try to use an Elixer, but he jumps up and kills me.

When he starts that attack, unless you're standing right next to him, open up your item menu and select the elixir. Right after it hits, use the elixir. I wouldn't reccomend fighting him until at the very least level 50. If you want a different challenge, have you been back to Agrabah? If not, go to Aladdin's house and see if the flying carpet's there...

What did you choose to be good and bad at in the beginning? I chose guard and gave up attack. Battles last longer, but you're a LOT harder to kill, especially near the end. Because I chose guard, I only had to use different potions instead of an elixir, if I equipped that MP rage ability.

I might start up my save file again and see if I can still beat him. If I can, I'll post my strategy here. I don't know how much that'll help, since I'm level 100 and have the best keyblade.

I had a very hard time with the Ice Titan, since I didn't know you could deflect those icicles back at him. I had to rely on mp rage, cure spells, and cast fire on him when I could. Probably took me an hour, at least.

Edit: I did it, and it was hard! I'm rusty at this, so it took me a while to remember everything. When he casts that massive fire spell, stand still and you might not get hit a second time. Take the oppurtunity to cast aero or cure. When that "Sin Harvest" spell went off, I was right next to him. Somehow. he missed me when he attacked, then he cast that fire spell, giving me time to heal. When he jumps toward you and attacks, he often attacks so he's at the exact farthest point from which he can hit you. And he teleports after a four-hit combo, so if your combo is longer, take off the combo + abilities until you're at 4 hits. After the first "Sin Harvest" spell, he'll start running around and teleporting more often. He might also try the "Sin Harvest" spell again. Once something appears over your head, it's too late to keep him from doing it. He might also use what could be his limit break. The screen goes dark, he stands there for a minute, cannot take damage, and then starts swinging his sword continuously, and then does some overhead smash attack on you. This could easily kill you, if he's been hitting you. Once he starts glowing, he's temporarily invincible until he hurls the energy ball at you. Then he starts attacking normally, but running less, teleporting even more, and these small dark energy balls appear after everyting he does. By this point, he's probably around half on the yellow bar. he's much harder to hit, and may use his limit break or the energy ball again. I found that it's easier to hit him if you jump first. You may also dodge an attack when you do this. Pretty much other than this, the only way to hit him is by countering his attack, and hit him then. I didn't even try magic. If you have low defense or low hp, the fight will probably end like this:

You'll need a higher level probably lv90ish ( duh ). You'll probably also need a longer keyblade. The Black Chocobo Keyblade is suitable. though it has lower damage but it has longer reach. Thus you'll be able to escape often from his " Magna Attack " ( Sin Harvest? ) as you fight from a distance. Prepare yourself with a handful of elixir cause one of his attack will drain all your hp/sp? and it is unescapeable.

The oblivion is longer than the chocoboo. I've tried it with the chocobo and got my @$$ kicked. I'm at level 79, but my strength is 60, my defense is 58, and I have 8 little magic bars. Oh, my HP is at 94, I just got aeroga, magic doesn't effect him, getting elixers are very rare on this particular save (on all my others I get one after killing anybody, I have lucky strike on about all of them) yeah I fought Kurt Zisa, but get killed on his last shield. I can't get the synthisizing items I need, so I'm not sure if I'll get the ultima any time soon. I can't get save the king, oh, and as for the you have to be at level 90, my friends at level 90, and he can't beat ansem without getting hit, even with the ultima.

MP rage (or whatever it's called, increases MP when hit) can make it so you only need to use a hi-potion instead of an elixir.

Again, what did you choose at the beginning of the game? It has a large effect on how you can beat him.

High stat: Atk, you'll need to heal a lot, but one swing for you would probably equal 3 for me. Def, you don't need to heal as often. Mag, your cure spell will heal you more, but other than that, you're at a disadvantage compared to the other two.

Low stat: Atk, try to hit him whenever there is even just a slim chance you could hit. Def, he's going to kill you very quickly. Mag, you may want to use potions instead of cure spells when possible.

With Kurt Zisa, the "supercombo" things (not combo +, the special attacks) seemed to damage it a lot, and prevent attacks when he's knocked down, giving you XP! On the no magic part, get one hand down to low health, and then focus on the other. When you run low on health, kill the damaged hand, since it drops tons of health. On the physical sheild part, have fire as a quick spell, and just blow all your MP shooting it. You might as well, since you can't use spells later.

If you're good at magic, there's another special boss on the pirate ship. Get Peter Pan and talk to Tinkerbell. Here's two major tips, if you haven't beaten that one.

Look at the sphere's color...
It has a spell that starts the clock, and when it reaches 12:00, the character "dies" and cannot be revived. How can you prevent that?

You should be able to beat both of these guys before Sephiroth, and probably the ice titan, too.
