last night like every friday night in Northern Virginia I
was watching The Sci-fi Channel and The new series Dr. Who
started with a 2 hr. Preview. It wasn't bad at all in fact
I think I'll be watching this new verison of Dr. Who every
friday night for as long as it lasts. I have always liked
the British Verison of this show and I hope the new American
verison stands up too the original. So far the Show looks to
be very very promising. Any of you that liked the old British
series check it out next friday on Sci-fi channel if you can.

When you talk about the new American version - is that like a remake of the new remakes in Britain?

I really enjoyed the first of the new series, only seen the pilot episode with the next Doctor in...I'm giving him time to settle into the role. But yes, it is good!

These are the new BBC episodes. Sci-Fi just bought 'em from the BBC.

I watched the first 2 and they were good. I just hope they make a few episode that aren't completed in 1 show.
P.S I guess there is an upcoming episode with K9 and the original Sarah. Should be interesting.

Question Mark

So far the episodes are ok, but I also really wish they wouldn't squeeze one story into one hour. Make it a continuing story over several weeks like the old series.

Continue watching, the episodes interwine and come together at the end of the series
