I installed both SoA and ToB on my machine. But when I start the game it always starts with the ToB screen and after selecting the *Play SoA* option I have to change the CD.
Is there any possibility to avoid this CD changing ??? It reminds me a little too much of the good old times when games were delivered on CDs ...

It shouldn't. Are you sure you did a full install of both SoA and ToB?

No - I didnŽt do a full install because my hard disk is a little cramped at the moment.
So when I donŽt want to be prompted to change from ToB CD to SoA CD 2 at startup I have to do a full install ???

With a full instal I just run the TOB CD and once the game starts I remove it altogether. All it does is load the game and there is no use for any cd in the drive after that.

It's prompting you to change because it needs to read data off the CD. When you do a full install, it does just that - installs everything to your hard drive. Anything other than full leaves data on the CDs which need to be inserted to play.
Your only options are either live with the swapping or do a full install. |

Have you downloaded and installed the TOB patch yet, as it may fix the problem?
Alternatively, you can do a full install of TOB but only a partial install of SOA. This is how I currently run SOA and I keep SOA disk 2 in most of the time. I had the same problem for a while, but can't remember whether it was fixed by the patch or by installing all of TOB. |

Ok - thank you guys !!!
IŽll try to see it from the sunny side - at least now I have a reason to clean up my hard disk. Mayhap thereŽll be some sensational archaeological discoveries ...
