Righty just a quick question about the Underdark...nasty place that it is! dotted around are these portals that are guarded by an Air Elemental and another with an Earth Elemental.

Now when you kill one another pops up in its place, do they serve any purpose? or are they just there for me to keep beating the snot out of them to rack up XP?

HINT: Talk to the Duergar merchant to the south.
HINT 2: Cast the spell Freedom anywhere in the area.

DOH!! I'm currently legging it out of the arena where the Mind Flayers make you fight, the nice chaps who's names i can't remember are keeping them busy...will i be able to go back at any time to tie off loose ends as it were?
