I have just started a bg1 game with a bard(after being inspired by butterfingers, god bless you man ), but i cant think of a good name. so i exported him to a char class under bard. that way i can think of a proper name and change it.

his stats BTW

Str: 17
Dex: 18
Con: 15
Int:16
Wis: 8
Char: 17

amazing stats if you ask me

Edit: almost forgot, could you guys post some suggestions
thnx in advance

Take a dictionary of some foreign language (I'd take latin), it is full of colorful words.

Since he's half elf something that has celtic connections or connections to the kit, e.g. Myrddin (sorry for that), Talisen (a famous celt bard but spelt wrong) or Storm Windblade.

Chicken Little.

Little Ricardo. (Hats off to little Richard)

Spanky.

Robert Planter.

Zach Wildmage.

Axel Rosebud.

B.B. Kingslayer.

Keith Moongazer.

Jimmy Drumstix.

Slim Morrison.

I could go on but I wont.

As for Bard stats, any Int score over a 14 or a 15 is a waste, as you can only cast spells up to the 6th level. Having 8 Wis means you will take a -2 penalty to your lore per level. If you choose a Blade kit later, which also takes a hit to their lore, well, most plain mages and thieves will wind up with better lore, and, being a Bard is all about lore.

If you are going to play through BG though for the stat books, you should be ok though.

My Bard after BG had 19/19/16/15/15/19 stats.
