Chaotic Commands protects you from command spells, Suggestion, charm, domination, mind affecting spells. If memory serves Maze isn't a mind affecting spell, it's a conjuration spell, thus chaotic commands will not stop Maze. Nothing will stop a Maze spell, although casting freedom will end it.

speaking of maze, I wish there were a contingency spell powerful enough to be loaded with freedom. Maze = game over when soloing (although I might have to consider Spell Immunity - Conjuration when I go up against some characters.

Btw a question about maze:
When you are mazed your character is put into a... safe place... will he ever come back?

Yes.

The length of its "Mazing duration" is determined according to the character's INT score.

True.

Maze is a temporary state - Imprisonment is permanent.

Maze can be countered by MR - Imprisonment cannot.

And, most importantly - when you Maze an enemy, he's still alive.
Imprisonment kills.
