I'm interested in any game that have the assassin class.
However, I'm concerned about the end game of this game. In youtube video, I saw nothing but people ganking other people. Is this game pvp based? |

It's PvPvE. End game is more focused to PvP, but the ganking should be limited, especially in the Abyss. By end game, lvl 50 at release early next week, players will award both xp and Abyss Points, so ganking won't be very productive. Although it was in the beta tests, in areas where you can rift to the other side's areas. There are areas where you can PvE your way up, if you want.
There are details in the link I added if you want to read up on it.

I cannot wait, this is the one game in my mind that will stop me from returning to WoW (I know i know, trading one habit for another is bad) but I have been (wow)sober for a few months now and I'm hoping Aion will provide some casual fun.
I was in an early Alpha that was kinda clunky, which is odd considering the game has been around for a year now (In Korea), hopefully the finished English product will be top notch. |

I played in the last three closed betas and the open beta. I will be in the preselect, and the head start since I did preorder the game. I'm not sure what server I'm going to be on yet, but I'm pretty sure I'll be on the Asmo side, as the Elyos are far to emo for me. Not to mention all that sun being bad for my headaches.
Despite some network issues, the game is fairly polished now, the closed betas were all in the vanilla version, the Open Beta used what's live elsewhere, and was far from clunky for me.
