This is to the one country that we actually have credible evidence of engaging in some serious nuclear proliferation to Iran and North Korea! Nice one George, loving the consistency here.

Payback's a bizzatch, ain't it? But, we gotta bribe them to keep failing to find Bin Laden, who probably has hit Kashmir by now.

This isn't a bribe, this is a business opportunity for America's defence industry

A bribe would be giving him a few nice cars, or lots of money - something which I would support!

Hey, home-bizzas, geek this -- MagiK-man just knocked me some info on the dizzo-shizzow bout dis:

Quote:
Couple things you need to remember:

1. Pakistan has just had a recent governmental change.
2. F-16's are 35 year old technology...we can sell them that or let the russians make the money selling them MIG's
3. The version sold to Pakistan will have critical electronics removed
4. What avionics and Electronics that are sold.... can be shut down remotely by the US in the event Pakistan does something naughty.

See for decades now we have been ensuring that backdoors and disable commands exist on our technology sold abroad....send the proper signal and the EEPROMS self erase and the system becomes useless.

Technology...she is a wonderful thing
I can't sizzay how proof dis shizzle izle, but yo, you peeps gots it, so reads it.

Heheh...amazing, there wouldn't be any government interrested in Stuka divebombers, would it ? We have a few in stock, and with our next shipment of Das Pronto we should be able to deliver three more.

Anyone ?

Actually, its more of a reward for the help of the Pakistani's trying to track down and capture Osama Bin-Laden since the fall of the Taliban.

Sure, but

1) They haven't really been successful in that regard - surely the reward should come after the service?

2) Musharaff is a dictator (and I thought we wanted rid of them?) who was supposed to have given up either the leadership of the army or the presidency at the end of last year, yet chose to violate parliament's rulings and stay on.

3) The government is (imo anyway) using the Osama Bin Laden motive as an excuse for re-establishing its authority over vast swathes of tribal countryside that didn't acknowledge their authority, in often brutal fashion.

If OBL wasn't supposed to be in that area they would be condemned for their operations, and I think it's almost in Musharaff's interests to not find Bin Laden. (aaargh Azred, you see, you're getting to me already!)
