Look, I know this has nothing to do with BG@, but what exactly is The Magister? I've never even heard of one until I saw it as an avatar on here?

That is a good question, and to add to that I'd like to ask one of my own. Why are Magisters so unbelievably ugly? (one answer may in fact answer them both)

It's ugly so that people with Magister as their avatar are more inspired to post a lot to boost their rank up. The more people posting, the better, I guess.
