This FAQ is not yet complete please put all questions in the regular
Morrowind forums! The Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind - Tribunal - Bloodmoon FAQ (work in progress) I can't take credit for all of these FAQ, I did alot of cut and paste from the different Elder Scrolls sites. Mostly I set them in order and all in one place for all the members and visitors of Ironworks to use as they see fit. Q-What is the difference between the two versions? X-Box & PC. A-The TES Construction Set only ships with the PC version. The controls for each version are obviously different, with the PC using controls much like a first-person shooter using the keyboard/mouse combination. The content (quests, dungeons, etc) are exactly the same in both versions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Q-What perspective do I play the game in, first or third-person? A-Both. The game is meant to be played first person. However, you can toggle the view with the press of a button/key. Both views are available throughout the entire game. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Q-What is Morrowind rated? A-In the US, Morrowind has been rated Teen (Blood, Violence) by the ESRB. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Is there a Collector's Edition? If so, what's in it? A-There is a Collector's Edition for the PC version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Q-How many CDs will Morrowind use? A-Morrowind comes on two CDs for PC, one DVD for Xbox. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Is Morrowind the sequel to Redguard, Battlespire, or Daggerfall? A-Morrowind is the third chapter in the Elder Scrolls series and the sequel to Daggerfall. Redguard and Battlespire were set in the Elder Scrolls universe, and play a part in the overall history of the Elder Scrolls, but neither was a true role-playing game in the Elder Scrolls tradition. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Can I play Morrowind with my friends? A-Morrowind is a single-player RPG only. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Q-What are the minimum and recommended system requirements for playing Morrowind? -Answer- MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
SUPPORTED VIDEO CARD CHIPSETS:
remember to UPGRADE your Drivers to the newest verison at least twice a year!! ------------------------------------------------------------ Q-What is the TES Construction Set? What can I do with it? A-see the seperate FAQ section for the TES in the Morrowind Forum for everything and more in the TES construction set. ![]() ================================================== =========== ================================================== =========== Section 2 of FAQ Morrowind the original FAQ & S-P-O-I-L-E-R-S section This section contains "SOME" Spoilers for Morrowind the original. It tells you where things are, why things happen in the game and how to avoid problems. If you don't wish to spoil the game don't read the answers Just read the Questions. ![]() Q-2.1 Where is the Dwemer Puzzle Box? Spoiler ahead A-Possibly one of the most asked questions. Casius will start by sending you to the Fighters Guild to talk to Hasphat Antabolis about the Sixth House and the Nerevarine. Head to Balmora’s Fighter Guild and go to the bottom down there theirs a big room with some weapons (Don’t push your luck) and two people. Talk to Hasphat and he’ll give you an errand to run. He is gonna send you to the Dwemer ruins Arkngthand to retrieve a Dwemer Puzzle Box. To find the ruins head south out of town cross the bridges over the Odai river to the east. At the sign head towards Pelagiad should be towards the north. To the right you’ll see a signpost reading Molag Mar, take this old road up the hill and across the bridge. Here you’ll either fight if your high level or run past Snowy Granius who think everyone should pay him in order to cross the bridge. Arkngthand is east of the ravine and south of the bridge. A crank on one of the nearby pipe opens up the doors. Inside the Hall of Centrifuge you find yourself at the top of a high chamber. Work your way to floor then look to the west for a second tier above the floor. Climb the second tier where you will find a door to the cells of the hollow hand. You’ll find the puzzle box on the back bottom corner of an old three-tier shelf in the Cells of Hollow Hand, in the same room as Boss Crito, a dangerous foe. Snatch the box and run or stay and kill Crito. There's a lot more here but you don’t have to do any more.Just bring the box back to Hasphat and he’ll give the info up. Report back to Caius with the note Hasphat give you and your done and ready to receive you next quest or go exploreing. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.2 Where have my items gone! A-There are two ways your items can go missing: 1. Items that have been placed in containers can sometimes and you use it to store your items. After a certain amount of time, the container 'resets', which causes the items that were in there previously to vanish. This problem can be avoided by placing your items on the floor and they will stay forever (Which is the safest way). Another way is to place them in a container that was empty the first time you looked in it. Don't try the second option unless you are certain the container was empty the first time you looked into it. 2. If you were carrying the items, and they are now missing, chances are you broke the law somehow, and the guards took them. Since guards can spot stolen items, if you commit a crime and pay the fine (Or go to jail), all of your stolen items are removed as well. The good news is you can probably get them back, since the guards move them to the closest 'Evidence Chest'. The evidence chests can be found in the following locations:
you paid the fine, your items should be here. If they aren't, try some of the other Evidence Chests listed above. Don't get caught stealing them back!! -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.3 When I attack people, even for a quest, the guards keep asking me to surrender. How do I avoid this? A-The guards attack you because you have committed a crime (Attacking someone FIRST.). Since it isn't a crime to defend yourself, getting the person to attack you is the best way to avoid committing a crime. There are several ways to achieve this:
------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.4 How do I increase my Speechcraft and Personality? What is the use of the different pursuasion options? A-Using Telvanni Bug Musk is the quickest way to give your Personality a quick boost. Use one just before entering a conversation, and you should find that all of the Persuasion actions are slightly easier. There are also spells, potions and magic items scattered around Morrowind that will increase your Personality or Speechcraft skills. Using these have the same effect. There are also trainers that can increase y our Speechcraft skill, for a price. Finally, if all else fails, you can always practice your pursuasion on everyone you meet, or you can keep practicing on the same person over and over again (preferably someone who isn't important.). When you click on the persuasion dialog option, you are shown the following entries:
Q-2.5 I need an item for a quest that I previously found and sold (or lost). What's the easiest way to get it back? A-If you have looked but cannot find the item in question, the easiest way is to use the AddItem console command. You can find the item ID by looking in the editor. [b[This only works if you are using the PC version, so if you are using the Xbox one, the only way around it is to find out what you did with it or who you sold it to.[/b] ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.6 I'm not sure what is legal and what isn't, so I keep breaking the law. Any help? A-Basically, most things that are illegal in real life are illegal in Morrowind. There are a few ways around the law, which are covered in the Vvardenfell law section. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.7 Why are my armour skills at 0? A-This usually happens when you equip the sword called 'Fury', which basically keeps reducing all of your armour skills until they are 0. If you are using the latest patch, visiting an Imperial Shrine will restore the skills to their original values. You can also pay a trainer, or practice your armour skills to increase them to what they were originally. If you can remember what they were before you equipped the sword, you can always use the Set'Skill' console command to restore them to their original values. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.8 Who is Crazy Batou and why does it give me the 'Thread of Prophecy is Broken' message when I kill him? A-This is an oversight on Bethesda's part - He isn't important, and can be killed if you so wish. Perhaps at some point he did have something to do with the main quest, however, at this time he doesn't. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.9 Some of my attributes/skills are red! What's that mean and how is it fixed? A-This usually means that a creature has cast the spell 'Damage <attribute or skill>' onto your character. There are a few ways to restore the values to their original levels. They are:
Q-2.10 How can I train skills up to 100? A-There are various 'Master Trainers' found all over Vvardenfell, each with 100 in a certain skill. The names and locations of these trainers will be listed in another section ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.11 Where are the merchants with large amounts of gold? A-Creeper, a Scamp merchant can be found in Ghorak Manor, Caldera. He is a mechant that has 5,000 gold, and he buys most things, all at full price. The Talking Mudcrab can be found to the island just to the South East of Mzahnch. He is also a merchant who has 10,000 gold, and he also buys most things, all at full price. The last merchant with quite a large amount of money can be found in the Zainab camp. He can be found in Ababael Timsar-Dadisun's Yurt and buys quite a few things, and has 9,000 gold. However, he is also the master trainer in Mercantile, which means that unless you also have a high mercantile skill, your items will be sold at a very low price. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.12 Where can I find Grand Soul Gems? A-Grand Soul Gems are used to trap the souls needed for constant effect enchantments. This list contains some locations in the game where you can find Grand Soul Gems. Unfortunately, a good number of places where you find them are random (such as crates in Smuggler's Caves). 1. Ald Redaynia, Tower 2. Ald Sotha, Shrine 3. Bal Fell, Inner Shrine 4. Balmora, Guild of Mages 5. Derelict Shipwreck, Cabin 6. Dren Plantation, Dren's Villa (chest_small_dren) 7. Dun-Ahhe 8. Hanud 9. Kora-Dur 10. Maelkashishi, Shrine 11. Sadrith Mora, Gateway Inn: West Wing 12. Sadrith Mora, Tel Naga Great Hall 13. Salmantu, Shrine 14. Tel Branora, Upper Tower: Therana's Chamber (felen maryon) 15. Tel Mora, Tower Services 16. Tel Uvirith, Menas' House 17. Tel Uvirith, Omavel's House 18. Tel Uvirith, Seleth's House 19. Tower of Tel Fyr (2 of them) 20. Telvanni sector of Vivec (perform a quest for an enchanter) ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.13 How do I make constant effect enchantments? A-To create a constant effect magic item, you will need a soul gem with a powerful soul trapped in it. You must use a creature with a soul whose value is 400 points or higher. Golden Saints or Ascended Sleepers (Not the unique Dagoth ones) are the most common creatures that you can create constant enchanments by. There are two unique creatures that you can trap, which are Dahrk Mezalf, a Dwemer Spectral Ghost, and Vivec. Of course Vivec is part of the main quest and Dahrk Mezalf is part of a Telvanni Councillors quest. Once you have this, you will also need to know a spell that uses the desired spell effect. Now you will need an item that has enough enchantment points to hold the required enchantment. After you have all of these items, you can either: 1. Do it yourself. 2. Pay an Enchanter to do it for you. The first option has a chance of failing, which can be quite high for constant effect enchantments. The chance of a successful enchantment can be increased by enchancing both your Intelligence and Luck attributes, as well as your Enchantment skill. You can increase your Intelligence quite high by creating Intelligence enhancement potions. Since Alchemy is based on Intelligence, you can use a trick when creating these potions. When you create a few Intelligence enhancement potions, drink them before creating the others. This allows you to create more powerful potions with a higher chance of success. The second option requires quite a bit of gold - which doesn't include bartering. The advantage of this is that there is no chance of failure. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.14 Whenever I try to steal things I get caught! What's the best way to do it? A-The first thing to note is that the crime will only be reported if you can be seen. This only works if there is a wall or similar obstical between you and the NPC. If that is the case, you shouldn't be reported when you steal an item. If the NPC never leaves the room, then you will have to use your sneak skill, by pressing and holding the sneak button. You can tell when you are successfully sneaking when the 'sneak' icon is shown. If your sneak skill is low, there are ways to increase your chances:
Q-2.15 Do I have to do the main quest? A-No you don't. Morrowind is structured in such a way that you can either do the main quest at your pace, or not do it at all! Also, once the main quest is finished, you can still keep playing. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-2.16 Where can I get Daedric armour and weapons A-The Daedric Armor & weapon locations are as follow: Daedric Armour daedric_boots Daedric Boots 1. Q-How many hours of added gameplay are there? A-Between 20 and 40 hours, depending on how many of the quests you do. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Do I have to start a new character to play Tribunal? A-No, Tribunal is designed to be played by any character at any time, whether you are just starting, in the middle, or have already finished the main quest of Morrowind. It adds into the existing world and you can travel back and forth from Vvardenfell to Mournhold. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-I have a very powerful character. Will Tribunal offer new challenges? A-Yes, whereas you can start Tribunal at any level, you will eventually need to be very high level to finish the Tribunal main quest. Overall, Tribunal caters toward very powerful and high level characters. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Is Tribunal compatible with The Elder Scrolls Construction Set? A-Yes. Tribunal is another master file, and the Construction Set has been designed to handle multiple master files. Your current plugins will still work in conjunction with Tribunal, and you will now be able to make plugins that make changes or use assets from both the Morrowind master and the Tribunal master file. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-How does the new Journal system work? A-The journal now allows you to view entries by quest, and view the quest list by active and completed quests. All quests in Morrowind and Tribunal can be viewed this way, so it's backwards compatible with old quests you are in the middle of now. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-How does the new Map system work? A-You can now place notes on the map. Simply double click where you want to put a note. An icon will appear on your map, and when you rollover it in the future, you can read or edit your comment. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-What are the system specs? A-They are the same as Morrowind. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Is Tribunal coming out for Xbox? A-Only in the Game of the year version which includes the main game plus both expansions. __________________________________________________ ___________ __________________________________________________ ___________ Section 4 Of FAQ The Bloodmoon Expansion Pack (in Work) Q-Where does Bloodmoon take place? A-Bloodmoon is set on the island of Solstheim to the northwest of Vvardenfell. You'll find an untamed wilderness to explore, populated by dangerous creatures and new dungeons like ice caves and Nordic burial tombs. ------------------------------------------------------------- Q-What are the key features of Bloodmoon? -Answer-
Q-Does Bloodmoon require Tribunal to play? A-No. Bloodmoon only requires Morrowind. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Is Bloodmoon compatible with Tribunal? A-Yes. Both expansion packs work together. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-How many hours of added gameplay are there? A-Between 30 and 50 hours, depending on how many of the quests you do. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-How do I become a werewolf? A-You will need to contract lycanthropy from another werewolf. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-What is special about being a werewolf? A-Playing as a werewolf completely changes the way you play the game. You get bonuses to your strength, agility, and speed. You'll gain a new ability called Eye of the Wolf. You do not use weapons or spells, but attack with your claws. Insane dreams will haunt you each night - dreams that urge you to fulfill the maddening werewolf quests. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Do I have to start a new character to play Bloodmoon? A-No, like Tribunal, Bloodmoon is designed to be played by any character at any time, whether you are just starting, in the middle, or have already finished the main quest of Morrowind and/or Tribunal. However, finishing Bloodmoon's main quest will require you to have a high level character. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-I have a very powerful character. Will Bloodmoon offer new challenges? A-Yes like Tribunal, Bloodmoon is aimed at powerful and high level characters. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Will the new functionality in Tribunal, like the revised journal and map, be in Bloodmoon? A-Yes. You will be able to sort your quests by name and make notes on your map in Bloodmoon. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-Is Bloodmoon compatible with TES Construction Set? A-Yes. Bloodmoon is another master file, and the Construction Set has been designed to handle multiple master files. Your current plugins will still work in conjunction with Bloodmoon, and you will now be able to make plugins that make changes or use assets from both the Morrowind master and the Bloodmoon master file. -------------------------------------------------------------- Q-What are the system specs? A-They are the same as Morrowind. __________________________________________________ ____________ __________________________________________________ ____________ Section 5 of FAQ Site links for Morrowinds many MODS and imformation!! Vampire Information It is possible to become a vampire within the game, opening up to 11 new quests and receiving some nice bonuses to your character as well. Vampirism is considered a disease, and all you have to do to catch it is to be bitten by a vampire. Each time a vampire bites/hits you, you have a small chance of catching the disease. If you are immune to disease, you won't be able to become a vampire this way (unconfirmed reports indicate that you can actually become a vampire even if immune to disease). Once you catch it, you can cure yourself anytime within three days of being bitten by a regular Cure Disease spell or scroll. After the three days, however, when you wake up you will be a full fledged vampire. You receive a number of bonuses to your Attributes and Skills and other abilities when becoming a vampire, depending on which clan you are in. Your clan will be in the same bloodline as the vampire that bit you. +20 to Strength, Willpower, and Speed +30 to Sneak, Athletics, Acrobatics, Hand-to-Hand, Unarmored, Mysticism, Illusion, and Destruction Immune to Paralysis and Common Disease +50% Resistance to Normal Weapons Vampire Touch spell, absorb health Damage to sunlight Levitate spell, long lasting, low cost Berne Clan: +20 to Agility, additional +20 to Sneak, Unarmored, and Hand-to-Hand. Berne Clan: Dwemer Animunculi spell which allowes me to Summon a Centurion Sphere for 120 Seconds Aundae Clan: +20 to Short Blade, additional +20 to Willpower, Mysticism, and Destruction Quarra Clan: +20 Blunt Weapon, additional +20 to Strength, Hand-to-Hand, and Heavy Armour There is a downside, of course, to becoming a vampire to offset this lengthy bonus list. You do not regenerate health when you sleep (though fatigue and mana are unaffected). The only way to regain health is via the Vampire Touch spell you receive. Also, being a vampire and all, very few people will want to talk with you. Besides the Mage and Telvanni Guilds, everyone else will either shun you, or worse, try to kill you (including fast travel). Of course, this might ruin a good portion of the game for some people, so be wary of the disadvantages before committing to vampirism. Fortunately, there is a cure, though obscure and difficult to find, but once you take it you cannot become a vampire ever again. Vampire Clans There are three clans, or bloodlines, of Vampires that you can be in the game: Berne, Audae, or Quarra. The clan you belong to depends solely on which clan the vampire that bit you belonged to. Though all vampires belong to one of the three bloodlines, there are 5 vampires that operate independantly of the clans. 1.Berne Clan This clan is led by Raxle Berne found in the dwemer ruins of Galom Daeus (West of Tel Urivith, NorthWest of the Erabenisum camp). Other Berne vampires can be found in the Raviro Ancestral Tomb (West of Molag Mar), the Othrelas Ancestral Tomb (North of Vivec), and the Andrethi Ancestral Tomb (West of Balmora). Four of the five independant Vampires also of the Berne bloodline and include: Marara in the Drethan Ancestral Tomb (far South of Dagon Fel at the South end of the island), Merta in the Reloth Ancestral Tomb (West of Maar Gan and East/North of Gnisis), Irarak in the Ginith Ancestral Tomb (NorthWest of Gnisis), and Calvario in the Nerano Ancestral Tomb (just West of Balmora). 2.Aundae Clan The Aundae clan is led by Dhaunayne Aundae, found in the Ashmelech Tomb (on the medium sized island far SouthWest of Dagon Fel). Other Aundae lairs include the Sarethi Ancestral Tomb (NorthWest of Dagon Fel), the Dulo Ancestral Tomb (West of Tel Uvirith), and the Aralen Ancestral Tomb (South of the Zainab Camp). 3.Quarra Clan The Quarra clan is led by Volrine Quarra, found in the Dwemer ruins of Druscashti (East of Khuul). Other Quarra vampires can be found in the Serano Ancestral Tomb (West of Tel Uvirith), and the Hleran Ancestral Tomb (West of Ald'ruhn). The last independant vampire, Mastrius, is of the Quarra bloodline and can be found in the Salvel Ancestral Tomb (a ways NorthWest of the Zainab camp, SouthWest of the Cavern of the Incarnate, just inside the Ghostfence region). Each clan has three quests which are offered only to its members. There are also 8 general quests open to members of any bloodline. Thus, you are limited to 11 of the possible 17 vampire quests in the game. -----Vampire Quests---- 1.Berne: Quarra Vampire Blood The Berne clan leader, Raxle Berne, in the Dwemer Observatory Galom Daeus, will ask you to retrieve for him a potion of Quarra Vampire blood that the clan leader Volrina Quarra draws her power from. Volrina can be found in Dwemer ruins of Druscashti, East of Khuul in the mountains. Unless you are quite powerful, you may not be able to fight the powerful vampires in the Quarra lair, so resort to sneaking if required. The blood potion can be found in a locked keg (Volrina has the key if you cannot pick the lock). Return to Raxle with the potion to receive access to two of the clan's vendors in the ruins (Arenara and Germia. 2.Berne: Kill Merta The Berne clan leader, Raxle Berne, in the Dwemer Observatory Galom Daeus, will ask you to kill the vampire Merta who left the clan. Merta can be found in the Reloth Ancestral Tomb West of Mar Gaan (SouthEast of Khuul). The tomb is small and Merta can be found at the end. Return to Raxle when Merta is dead to receive a recall spell that teleports you back to Galom Daeus. 3.Berne: Kill 12 Vampires The Berne clan leader, Raxle Berne, in the Dwemer Observatory Galom Daeus, will ask you to kill several 'worthless' vampires belonging to the Quarra and Aundae clans. Raxle will not give you explicit vampires to kill, but merely request that you return to him once you've dispatched at least 12 vampires. You can kill any vampires you you found in the Druscashti ruins that you visited previously. Lower-level vampires can also be found in the Dulo Ancestral Tomb, West of Tel Uvirith, and other places. Assumably, any Quarra or Aundae vampires you killed previous to receiving this quest are also counted. Return to Raxle when Merta is dead to receive permission to heal yourself using the clan's cattle (via the Vampire Touch spell). Just be sure not to actually kill any of them. This is the last Benre specific quest you receive from Raxle. 4.Aundae: Find Dhaunayne's Son The Aundae clan leader, Dhaunayne Aundae, in bottom of Ashmelech (a levitate spell comes in use here), will ask you to find out what happened to her son which she had before she became a Vampire. She gives you a signet ring with her family crest to aid you in your search, and tells you that you should start in Sadrith Mora. Head to the Mages Guild in town and talk to Tusamircil. He will recognize the ring as the same one worn by Sinyaramen. Tusamircil suggests that you deliver a potion that he ordered to help to get him to talk to you. Though Tusemircil doesn't actually know the location of Sinyaramen, Iniel in the guild does, telling you that she has seen the crested ring at the Gateway Inn in town. Sinyaramen can be found on the second floor of the inn and won't talk to you without the potion you are delivering to him. Speak to him about the crest, 'killed by your kind',and 'Vilandon'.It turns out that Vilandon, Aundae's son, was Sinyaramen's grandfather. Vilandn was a vampire hunter and was eventually killed by the Vampire Kjeld. Return to Dhaunayne with this information who will promptly order the death of Kjeld. Kjeld is a Quarra vampire found on the upper level of the clan's headquarters in Druscashti, East of Khuul. Return to Dhaunayne when Kjeld is dead to receive access to the clan's services (Mororurg and Gladroon vendors). 5.Aundae: Kill Vampire Hunter The Aundae clan leader, Dhaunayne Aundae, in bottom of Ashmelech (a levitate spell comes in use here), will ask you to kill a vampire hunter who has been exploring Ashmelech. Although you are given no name, you are told that the hunter lives in Ald'ruhn. Also, you are told explicitly to kill him in broad daylight with witnesses to provide an example to others. Travel to Ald'ruhn and ask around the Mages Guild to learn that the hunter is Ano Vando and is actually walking near the Mages Guild carrying an Ebony Shield. Be sure to kill him during the day and that someone is nearby. When you are successful, you will recieve a journal entry. Return to Dhaunayne when Vando is dead to receive an amulet which will Recall you to the clan's headquarters. Note that although Vando's equipment is quite powerful, don't try to use it while a Vampire as the items will 'not like you you' 6.Aundae: Kill 12 Vampires The Aundae clan leader, Dhaunayne Aundae, in bottom of Ashmelech (a levitate spell comes in use here), will ask you to kill any 12 vampires from the other clans, Quarra or Berne. See Vampire Clans for some vampire locations. Any vampires that you killed previously to receiving the quest should still count towards the 12. Return to Dhaunayne once you've killed 12 Vampires to receive permission to use Vampire Touch on the clan's cattle to heal yourself (just don't kill them). 7.Quarra: Kill Irarak The Quarra clan leader, Volrina Quarra, in bottom of Druscashti, will ask you to kill the Vampire Irarak who has set himself up as a god. Irarak can be found in the Ginith Ancestral Tomb SouthWest from Ald Velothi. The tomb is small and you should quickly find Irarak inside. You won't actually be attacked immediately and can chat with Irarak and 4 of his 'followers'. You now have a choice whether to kill him or let him bribe you. If you follow the bribe route, you'll be 1000 gold richer but will be kicked out of the clan once you return to Volrina, so this is obviously not the reccommended route. Return to Volrina once Irarak is dead to receive access to the clan's services (Areas and Kjeld). 8.Quarra: Ingrediant Hunt The Quarra clan leader, Volrina Quarra, in bottom of Druscashti, will ask you to retrieve for her a number of ingrediants for making some magical amulets with. The list includes:
to get, though you may already have a number of them in whatever hoard you keep. The amulets can be found in a number of places, including crates in smuggler's caves (levelled loot so they are random), such as the cave Yasamsi near Hla Oad. Cienne Sintieve (alchemist in Ald'ruhn), Minar Arobar (Manor District in Ald'ruhn), and Domesea Sarethi (Manor District in Ald'ruhn) also have amulets you can 'borrow' if you are skilled enough. The four ingrediants are slightly easier to get by visiting Telvanni and Mage Guild alchemy vendors. You may have to visit several to find them all. The skull can be found in a great number of places if you just look for them, including the Caldera Mages Guild, or outside the Arano Ancestral Tomb near Tel Branora. Return to Volrina once you have all the items to receive one of her older amulets, allowing you to recall to the clan's headquarters at will. 9.Quarra: Kill 12 Vampires The Quarra clan leader, Volrina Quarra, in bottom of Druscashti, will ask you to kill any 12 vampires from the other clans, Aundae or Berne. See Vampire Clans for some vampire locations. Any vampires that you killed previously to receiving the quest should still count towards the 12. Return to Volrina once you've killed 12 Vampires to receive permission to use Vampire Touch on the clan's cattle to heal yourself (just don't kill them). 10.Sanvyn Llethri If you ask around Ald'ruhn for rumours (such as in the Mages Guild) you'll learn that Sanvyn Llethri, in the Llethri Manor in the Manor District, wishes to become a vampire. First, speak to Sanvyn's mother, Fathasa, who will be one of the few regular people that will tolerate speaking with you. Fathasa will say that her son thinks that vampirism is the way to achieve power and respect and that she wishes for you to tell him otherwise. Speak with Sanvyn, just down the hall, using the topic submit myself. Choose the responses You are a foolish boy, You are a ridiculus young man, Stupid child, You are too weak to be a vampire, and You know nothing. Each insult will lower his disposition and increase his option to fight, so by the last insult he will most likely attack you. If you are so charming that he does not attack, just taunt him until he does. At this point, you should remember his mother's words and actually let the boy win...yes, I know this will be hard and contrary to most people's instinct, but don't fight back (if you're a powerful character, you just might kill him in one blow). Once your health has been halved, Sanvyn will declare himself the winner, deciding that his opinion about vampires was indeed wrong. Return to Fathasa to receive a magic ring (protects against fire). 11.Kill Marara Ask around Tel Mora for rumours to learn that a powerful vampire has been killing people lately. Find Marara in the Drethan Ancestral Tomb SouthWest of Ald Daedroth to learn more. It seems that his vampire has become tired of life (or death, or un-life, or whatever) which explains her recent of murders. In order to end it all, she wishes to be killed by one of her own kind....which would be you. At her death, you'll receive the useful Ring of Marara. 12.Help Mastrius You may come across the vampire Mastrius in the Salvel Ancestral Tomb inside the Ghostfence during your travels. Speak to him to learn that he was imprisoned to the tomb by the god Azura and that he may have found a way to escape. Mastrius will ask you to bring him the artifact shield Spellbreaker, and a Daedra's Heart. The heart is the easy part most Daedra or Alchemy shops will have one. The Spellbreaker is a more difficult journey to undertake and can be found in the Dwemer ruins of Bthuand, out in the middle of nowhere, far West of Tel Mora (North West from the Cavern of the Incarnate). The shield can be found behind some stones at the inner section of the ruins. You will also find a Daedra here who might yield you a heart if you can convince it so. Return to Mastrius with the shield and heart and he'll ask you for one more favore...the strength to break the binding spell. Agree and he'll absorb half of your health and stamina...and then attack you. Whatever happened to honor amoung vampires? Once you kill him his full suit of Ebony armour, along with the Spellbreaker, are yours. 13.Kill Shashev Speak with Sirilonwe in the Mages Guild in Vivec, Foreign Quarter Plaza, and mention someone killed. Sirilonwe will ask you to kill the rival Vampire Shashev in Ald'ruhn's Ald-Skar Inn and bring back his key. Kill Shashev and take anything you care to from his corpse, including the key and a nice magical ring. Return to Sirilonwe with Shashev's key (you get to keep anything you found on Shashev). 14.Find Vampire Dust Speak with Sirilonwe in the Vivec Mages Guild once Shashev is dead to receive her next quest. She will ask you to retrieve three Vampire Dust to aid her in her research. The dust can be adequately found on dead Vampires, or the occasional Alchemy shop that has it in stock (Ald'ruhn Mages Guild, Sadrith Mora, and Tel Aruhn all have alchemists that carry it). Return to Sirilonwe with the three Vampire Dusts to receive an Amulet of Gem Feeding as a reward. 15.Kill Rimintil Speak with Raven Omayn, the Mouth for Councilor Dratha, at the Telvanni Council House in Sadrith Mora. Omayn will ask you to kill Rimintil, found in the Central Tower of Tel Vos. Rimintil sports a good collection of Dwemer armour which you may wish to take. Return to Omayn once Rimintil is dead to receive a Flamemirror Robe. 16.Steal Quarra Blood Speak with Raven Omayn, the Mouth for Councilor Dratha, at the Telvanni Council House in Sadrith Mora once you've killed Rimintil for him to receive his next quest. Omayn will ask you to steal a potion of Quarra Blood potion for him. If you've completed the related quest for Raxle Berne previously, you will know that Raxle will currently have the potion. Otherwise, the potion is still in a locked keg at the bottom of the Quarra headquarters in Druscashti, East of Khuul. Return to Omayn with the potion to receive a Flawed Dwemer Jinksword (just because it's flawed doesn't nessecarily mean its useless). 17.Cure for Vampirisim You can talk with many people across Morrowind on the topic of vampirism, and vampirism cure to receive a wide variety of advice. You may also come across the rare book Vampires of Vvardenfell, Volume II in your travels or through a number of quests. Volume II has actually been banned by the Temple, explaining its rarity. If you don't have the book, seek out Skink-in-Tree's-Shade in the Mages Guild at Sadrith Mora, Estirdalin at the Balmora Mages Guild, or Smokey Morth at the Varo Tradehouse in Vos to learn more about it. Retrieving the book is actually a task that Skink will give you as part of the Mages Guild quests. The few copies that do exist can be found at (unconfirmed at the moment):
Papers of Galur Rithari, Buoyant Armiger, which can only be found in Galom Daeus and Tureynulal as well as in the secret library of Vivec (hidden under a book near the Ordinator). Either source should spell out the steps required to be cured of the disease. You must first travel to the Daedric shrine at Bal Ur, North of Suran. Enter the shrine and inside speak with Derar Hlervu who will tell you to speak with the statue. The Statue, Bal, will ask you to travel to the cave Dubdilla (South of Vos) and kill Bal's daughter, Molag Grunda, and her atronach consort, Nomeg Gwai. Bal is apparently displeased about the company his daughter has been keeping (and you though your father was strict). Return to the shrine once the pair are dead and your Vampirism will be permanently cured. You will lose all the skills and attributes gained when you became a Vampire, and your character [cannot become a vampire again. This concludes my knoledge of the Vampires hope it will help you. You should try to shorten some of the lines that you use to before starting a new section. They can cause Horizontal scroll bars which can be really annoying.
Also, it might be a good idea to post two copies of the FAQ. One which is stickied and locked, and another (like this one) that can be commented on but is just a normal thread. That way anyone can make suggestions without them being forever tied to the soon-to-exist FAQ thread, which would proably be better if it was just for FAQs. Also: Quote:

To keep this sticky clean, I'll from time to time delete old unimportant replies, I'm letting you guys know now. Don't be surprised if you eventually don't see one of your reply in this thread.

You should put the Imperial Library as a webpage, it is the biggest compilation of Tamriel Lore taken from everything mentioned in all TES games.
