Hello everyone!
Well, after my parents uninstalld BG2, i saved my save files, then reinstalled it. Unfortunatley my save files arent working anymore...so im going to start a new character, non solo this time. Any one have an idea besides fighter/mage, sorcerer, ranger, druid, cleric? Thanks!

Cavalier, a nice mixture of brawn and a dash of clerical spells. Not to mention kicka** resistances and immunities.

Would have recommended Blade as well, but you have played a Fighter/Mage before, so it might seem same-old, same-old.

CAVALIER! CAVALIER!

The Cavalier is great, both solo and non-solo. He/she is 20% resistant to Fire and Acid, totally immune to Fear and Poison, gets good bonuses when fighting Demons, Dragons etc, can use Priest-spells, can use the normal Paladin-skills, and can wield the Carsomyr!
No wonder why the Cavalier is the best class!

My true favourite has to be either the Ranger or a Sorcerer.. I do not like multi-classing much because I believes it ruins the true value of the game. I just find it too damn easy completing BG2 with a multi-class or a duel-class... But that's just my own personal thoughts.. Anyway I hope I have been of some help.

A Swashbuckler or Skald is pretty fun too.

Just to add. If you install ToB as well, Cavaliers get immunity to Charm.

Yup, it gets better and better.

Download the baldurdash Fixpack v3.61 to fix the bug that disabled Paladins from wearing the Amulet of Power, among other bugfixes.

Cavaliers initially start off with Lay on Hands as their only healing spell. When they hit level 9, they can start casting Clerical spells as well. Cavaliers can cast up till level 4 Clerical spells, with at most 3 spell slots per spell level.

Good Clerical spells to use with Cavaliers are Armour of Faith, Draw Upon Holy Might, Free Action, etc... ...

[ADD]
Do not forget that Cavaliers can Turn Undead as well! Lvl 10 Turn Undead can vapourise Shadows, lvl 15 - Shadow Fiends, lvl 20+ - Vampires and Liches.
[/ADD]

Good luck, and have fun, Lady Blue03.
