Look, Byronas, although in Greece, we have holidays both in Easter and Xmas, in other countries they don't. Anyway, I like Christmas, because I enjoy the fire at the fireplace, the Xmas tree and the presents...

I think you like Christmas for the presents! Anyway, please go to the General Discussions Forum to chat at Elliniki Gonia.

I enjoy Christmas better. Having kids, Easter is easier. Color
some eggs, hide some fake ones, spend $100. Christmas = *ouch*

I don't celebrate Christmas or Easter (I'm not a Christian).
I prefer Yule and Ostara (the Pagan festivals for those times of year, which were turned into Christmas and Easter for Christianity)

I am a Christian and I don't celebrate Christmas or Easter either.

Christmas, for me is a day of giving thanks and of giving to those in need.
Easter, for me is a day of rememberance, reflection and prayer.

Epona,
If it isn't too much off-topic to ask, how are Yule and Ostara celebrated differently from Christmas and Easter (omit the church stuff, obviously)?
