God, i'm feeling bad right now. I just got home to find that our dog had died. They had the doc. kill her when i was away. She was 15, and i had known her for all my life. She was lying next to me when i was a baby. And we went to the woods togheter when we grew up.
And now she is dead, withoud even a proper chance to say goodbye. How sad can life be? Their will be another dog, but it will never be the same. May her soul rest in peace. |

Dreamer, I wholly sympathise. My childhood dog was run over before my eyes at age 10. I really never have gotten over it, but you're right, there are always dogs out there that need you.

Oh, Tom, I am so sorry for you. *hugs* I wish they had given you an opportunity to say good bye. I am sure they thought they were making things easier on you, but I think they made a mistake.
