I've looked on the WoW forum and cannot find the answer to my question which is that i can't load up my screen to retrieve character list. Does anybody else get this or am i the lone duck sitting in the pond here.

If you have any ideas on how to fix this problem i would appriciate it.. I've also mailed the problem to Blizzard.

Make sure it's not just server lag. The queue on my server was 200 at one point last night.

It's a known problem with the servers. My response was 'we are working on a solution' when I talked to a GM. It's not just you so don't worry - oh and leave it hang there for a few mins sometimes it works.

I've said it before I would gladly pay for a game per month but will never pay for a game where I have to sit in a queue to get onto a server.

If you are paying per month then you should NEVER have to wait or have the waiting time added onto your time card.

In fairness they do add free days for downtime. Last year I think I had a total of 7 free days added to my account. Some of these days I wasn't even online so they truly were free.
