multiple attack damage???

Why is my fighter only getting one point of damage in on the second third and fourth attacks that he makes in round, ie:
warrior does 39 damage to troll
warrior does 1 damage to troll
warrior does 1 damage to troll
warrior does 1 damage to troll

???what is up with that? I am using two battle axes with weapon speeds of 4 or 5. why is he only getting one point of damage in on those subsequent attacks???
ANYONE!

what axes are they? some magical weapons give +1 of a certain elemental attacks... maybe the axes you have are like that... and maybe it was only one of the axes that hit

the two axes im using are simply +2 axes, nothing else.
the fighter is also proficient in two weapons simultaneously, so is it still possible i could be missing every time with the other hand? this is the way EVERY attack shows up for him. . . . what is up?!?!?

Kmazi is right. Weapons that do multiple forms of damage (extra fire, cold, etc.) will show each type of damage on its own separate line. Against trolls, those "1 point of damage" lines will be quite important....

Looks like you're wumping on someone with the Flail of Ages. The base damag , then 1pt fire, 1pt acid, 1pt cold...

Couple of weapons do that. There's a +4 Halberd you pick up in the underdark , and at least one more I forgot about. Check if one of your weapons is a +2 thing-a-ma-bob with +1 cold , +1 fire, +1 etc type weapon.

The frostreaver axe does it too. And an other axe that you can buy in copper corronet.

You guys are all right, but he stats that he's using 2 plain+2 battleaxes...not a halberd or the flail of ages, and since frostreaver and stonefire are all +3, I'm not sure what the problem is, since no +2 axes have elemental damage.....

Some scripts will automatically select your most powerful weapon before attacking. The Flail of Ages is much more powerful than a mere axe +2. That kind of damage seems very consistant with the Flail of Ages...
