Trying to setup Wizardry 8! My computer went through the Autosetup selecting the best video, audio and monitor settings, then starts the game I have great audio and no video (black screen)! I've tried all the other options available and still no video! Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem? By the way it is a laptop!

Thank you

I don't know of any way to fix it, but your not missing much. The movies are nothing more than static images being moved around, and in comparison to other mainstream RPG's, they are way below par.

Try to install the last video drivers for your card. Also check you have direct X 8.1.

Then set the game rendering to low resolution. You may trig between OpenGL and DirectX as well to see.

Haa yes:
- A 3D graphics accelerator is required

So you must be sure your laptop has a 3D accelerator. Nvidia GeFore GO should do it well.
