Can anyone tell me about these forts out in the middle of nowhere? An example - Hlormaren between Hla Oad & Gnaar Mok. These are the forts with the polypon (sp?) indexes also.

I went into the fort and the residents were hostile on the first two floors, but strangely the residents on the roof and in the underground section were friendly. I freed some slaves then found a back exit through the sewer and into the sea.

Anyway, is there anything that can be told about them that isn`t a major spoiler? Why were the residents in the upper and lower sections hostile? Why were the residents underground and roof nice?

if you do the main quest. you will know something about the forts/ruins and the race that create them. I don't want to spoil here.

Why the residents in Hlormaren are hostile while others are not? this again will be explain in a quest. I forgot which guild/house give this quest.

Those are the old dunmer fortresses, which have been abandoned after the empire took over VVardenfell. They are connected to each other by propylons: if you have the proper index, just use the propylon and get teleported.

Official from bethesda is a mod which allows you to get all the propylon indexes and combine them into one maste index, which will allow you to travel from those keeps to he mage guild in Caldera and back. Get it, it's a useful connection network.

Oh, I almost forgot, there is one of those fortress which has been forsaken (=> no propylons). Kogoruhn is its name, and you will get there if you follow the main quest

It is better RP not to take every cup and plate lol. BTW where is your house? I`m currently using 'Your Residence in Dagon Fell' to store some stuff like my old Legion armors on dummies.. kind of like my own museum lol. I hadn`t joined any house but I decided to join Redorian so I could get that keep. Is it worth it?
