I know this is going to seem like a dumb question, but I have to ask it anyway. I've been having alot of problems with the sound in Morrowind, and all the threads that I read say to update your sound card, but I really have no idea how to do that. I know an Ironworks member should know how to do this, but I'm still learning how to optimize my computers performance. I've got a SoundBlaster AudioPCI 128. I think.......

Oki, go to www.creative.com choose the land you live in (closetst to) select soundblaster page, check for drivers. Also check wich driver you need for your card. Download the drivers and updates and install them. In the tweak for the card, turn of ambient sounds and extras if you have problem with the sound in the game. Truning off music and footsteps can help..

Also, check the dxdiag from the run option in the "start" menue to test it and make sure the you see that it is directx8.1 compatbile.

Creative respond to support fairly well, but it can take a week or more to get the answer you require..

Good luck!
