I have recently started a new solo game. My character reached Arnika at lv3 (2ranger, 1rogue). At that level he clears most of N-Wilderness,A-Road,Arnika and A-T Road. The problem is he can't get pass the spirits at upper Tryton. One acid splash and he was gone......The only way I can think of is to put some levels to be a bishop, and wait till he can get magic screen......Is there any other way to dispatch the casters? Also is there a Filcher Bane at Breeder's room?
BTW this is my character's info: lv6 (2ranger 1rogue 3bishop) elf about 40hp 50-60 in all attributes (ie str,pie...) 92 stealth 90 shield 80 mace and flail 80 close combat 50 bow 48 ranged around 20 for magic skills( except air-no air spell) |

Magic does help against any and all sprites.
![]() Paralyze is a good spell, also insanity. I've never tried beating them with a non-magic user in my party. Usually I incapacitate them and have my tanks beat the crap out of them. How in the world did you make it to Arnika and are still only a level 3? I'm usually about level 6 when I get to Arnika, and that's with a ful party. Spirits or Sprites?
I never found the Sprites to be difficult, since they have so few hit points. If you're really stuck you may try arranging the fight so that a tyrnnie patrol takes the initial brunt of the sprites' magic attack. |

i bet he just didn't level up, as that's the only way i have ever been able to solo the A-T road. lookit his skills, they are very high. it keeps the spawns at a low enough level to deal with. anyway, the skills are the most important thing to develop for a solo, otherwise you're dinner. ![]() V***V

Thanks everyone! Actually I went to Tryton a few days ago to try again with my lv6 char. Two power4 magic missiles and most of them died. I am now at the entrance of ratkin tree. Can I beat the breeders by this level?
Well I really just stop my char from leveling. He now has around 1.5mil exp. I think the most important thing is to have a high stealth skill. Now with a round shield he has about 26ac (so hogar is not a matter for me now). The pain of using a low level char is in Arnika, in which the monster levels varies a lot. Most of them are just low level savant guards, but lv12 drones occurs quiet frequently and sometimes I just face a team of lv23 androids (should be slashers but I can't identify them). |
