Outposts

What is the point of the outposts? There are a few scattered about and I can`t figure out what they are supposed to be for. One is between the Monestary and Arnika, and the other is between Arnika and Trynton. When you click on the doors to open them it says they are too hard to force and there is no hope of picking them. What is the deal?!

Right now I`m working around in Trynton and I`m about to head off to the and just killed the breeders. If I should be figuring it out by now please give me a spoiler!

Also, what is this blue marble for? I used it to open a door but I apparently need it for something else....

The two houses are, respectively, the Umpani and T'Rang teleport houses. There is no way in from outside; you have to teleport in from the other end to open the buildings.

The blue marble is used only for the Pagoda. Why it sticks around, I don't know.

You can get to them from the other side by transporting from certain devices. Once they are open, you can use them to get around. Also, you can rest behind them without attacks! Bon appetit.

The buildings are actally the far terminus of teleport stations from the Trang and Umpani encampments - you can only open them from the inside.

If you've opeed the door in Trynton, the blue marble is history - it is common that the game won't let you drop items necesary to a task (you get THAT message) - it will however let you store it in a chest - use He'li or Antone.
