MP3 and Midi Problems

Two problems:

1. MP3 files are not a choice when choosing background music, the only choices are WAVE or MIDI files. I have earlier designs in which the music worked fine for all file types, but does not work at all in version .904

2. When I try to load a MIDI file the program gives me an error message saying it could not load the file. While the file shows up on the play list it does play in the game.

WAVE files work fine.

Is this an error or am I missing something? I have tried to load MP3 and MIDI files to use as background music on certain level, but to no avail. All of the music files, both MIDI and MP3 sound fine when I play them independently.

Hi,

I am running both 0.904 and the recent 0.906 update.
For background music the new update doesn't seem
to give the option of mp3 files. Version 0.904 does.

I am about to try out the midi myself.

I mistyped the version number I'm currently version .906. I did not upload version .904, but all my previous versions supported MP3 since v .770

I agree, I can't seem to get it to use either in the new version. In the previous versions I was able to.. I always thought that was one of the coolest features
