The title has it very plain, you put down you top5 favorite books like a poll, if only because it is one. Now to get to the point.
1. All quiet on the western front. Erich Mariah Remarque 2. Catcher in the rye. J.D Salinger. 3. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Hunter. S. Thompson. 4. 1984. George Orwell. 5. Brave New World. Aldous Huxley. You could rearange those in any order and I would be happy. Now a Fantasy top5 since something fantasy is required in this section. 1. Assasins Quest. Robin Hobb 2. Tales of the dyeing earth. Jack Vance. 3. Eye of the world. Robert Jordan. 4. Fellowship of The ring. J.R.R. Tolkien. 5. First book of lankhmar. Fritz Leiber. Now go post, go on shoo. ------------------ ![]() |

![]() And how could I have forgotten Wizard of Earthsea?! Good Soldier Schweik, and Memory Sorrow and Thorn trilogy were among my regretted leave-outs. I only posted books I have read at least 10 times. ------------------ ![]() ![]() |

![]() You can't ask me to decide which the books in the series are best. Okay, maybe you can, but I couldn't give you an answer. And what good is a best book if it's the second part of a series? Even though I may like it best, it wouldn't make sense to others. ------------------ The last arrow of Legolas kindled in the air as it flew, and plunged burning into the heart of a great wolf-chieftain.
