So yea ok i just killed the unseeing eye and im trying to leave the pit place and the exit ur saposed to go out says that the lock is locked by convetional means.
so im stuck any ideas?

Well, it should open as long as you're on the side where you came from the Eye's Lair.
Just try opening it normally.

Was your whole party close enough?
You could try lockpicking it then opening the door...

the first time you came to the door (from the Beholder lair side), it would show the same "it cannot be opened via conventional ways" message, but when you approach it again, it should open.

Stand around there. Pace if you must. Walk near the staircase then near the door then near the middle. It'll work eventually... It's given me problems in the past as well.
And just so you know for next time, if you post on the wrong board it's best to delete it if nobody's responded yet.

how long should i walk around befor it should work and do i need to unlock it with my thief?
