Has anyone had a problem where the game will not start up at all. The screen comes up with the the play options: Play, Configure, Read me.etc, but when I click play the next screen just shows the skull with its eyes lit up. Then nothing happens at all. It doesn't load and I have to ctrl+alt+del to get out of of the program. Come on help me!

How fast computer do you have? When this happens, it usually is the RAM that isn't cooperating... you need more of it that is. It may also depend on your processor, though I am not so sure at that point.
Well, if you do have more than P 266 mhz with 64 meg RAM, it may be your disc-drive who is broken. Checkthat one out too. BUT, before you buy loads of ram and a brand new DVD-drive, you should try to re-install the game. Try full install. That usually fix everything up. ------------------ We call him Bobby Corwen ![]() |

32? That may be the problem then. I now it is minimum, but you should buy more (it is cheap!), maybe 128 mb extra. Then you will not get any trouble at all, and will probally be able to play future games as easy as ToB.
And have you tried re-install? ------------------ We call him Bobby Corwen ![]() |

Lotsa factors... you have to tone it down somehow...
First, have you defraged your pc before and after? Is the Direct X updated or whatever? Do you have the ToB patch? have you tried running it in software mode? In any case, to alleviate some, try to defrag if you haven't, unintsall it first, then you do it, then reinstall, defrag, download the patch etc., all the things that you can think of... if that doesn' work... then it is the PC's prob.. not the games. ------------------ ![]() Heya!
