As I stated, this my opinion on the game. It does contain quite a few spoilers, so don't read if you have not beaten it.

Best Bosses - 1. 3 way Tie amongst the Blue Dragon, drow, and Monk Bhaalspawn. All had unique abilties that made them a challenge. Like the Blue's change from man to beast change, the monk's ton of special abilties (he no normal monk!), and the drow's multiple statues of herself were tricky!
2. Drakonis - as tough, or even tougher than his dad with his dimension door abilty! He rocks. BTW Can anyone explain why he's a brown dragon; while his father is blue. Hmmm...
3. Melissan - Enteresting choice for final villain. 1st, and 4th fights w/her are easy; while 2nd, and 3rd are EXTREMELY tough!
Runner-Up: Demogoron ( was tough, but just too damn ugly to take seriously, need more back story, stupid that he makes time stop useless!

Funniest Moments: 1. The Adventurers Reload. 'Nough said.
2. Spectator Beholder. 'Nough said.
3. Cespenar - Even though is voice can be a little annoying,
his funny lines make up for it.
Runner-Up: Gronir-Il Khan (what a wacko!)

Best Equipment for Shadows Of Amn, and Throne of Bhaal (TOP 10):
1. Ring of Gyaxx - obvious choice.
2. Crom Faeyr - most powerful weapon for straight out fighting.
3. Carsomyr - best paladin (or thief) weapon.
4. Gram the Sword of Grief - best 2h sword other than holy sword.
5. Staff of the Magi - very useful for mages.
6. Golem Manual - juggernault is awesome.
7. Angarvada - best long sword.
8. Runehammer - top piece of equipment vs. undead by far.
9. Firetooth Crosbow - best missle weapon in game.
10. Amulet of Power - immunity to life drain, and permanent vocalize spell.
Runner -Ups: Dragon Armour, Mind Flayer Blade, Bladesinger Chain, Flail of Ages, Circlet of Netheril, and so many more that are great, that I've mistakenly forget. can't possibly make a bad choice with equipment!

Best New Skills ( TOP 10 - leans towards classes other than thieves since I had no straight thieves in my party - both were dual - Nalia & Imoen)

1.Greater Whirlwind (Warrior Types)
2.Hardiness (Warrior Types)
3.Summon Deva (Clerics, Druids, & Paladins)
4.Use Any Item (Thieves, & Bards)
5.Critical Strike (Warrior Types)
6.Greater Elemental Summoning (Driuds)
7.Assassination (Thieves)
8.Mass Raise Dead (Clerics, & Druids)
9.Enhanced Bard Song (Bards)
10.Whirlwind (Warrior Types)
Runner -Ups: Improved Alacrity, Summon Planetar,Resist Magic, Globe of Blades, Set Traps, Elemental Transformation, & Cleric's Holy Symbol.

Best Moments:
1. FInal ending - Great Choices, Tough Battle, Lots of Fun!
2. Adventurers Reload - 'Nuff Said!
3. Saradush - Thisplace was alive, damn those firball catabolts! Aarrggh!
4. Monk Bashing - Put those monk lovers in their place - only the main monk presented a real challenge!
5. Watcher's Keep - Just Plain Awesome!

Most Dissapointing:
1. Too Linear - I wish had some more options on what, and how to do things.
2. First Spawnpawn - Just plain dumb, she lasted like 2 seconds, what a joke! No story (until later of course! had no chance to feel anything abnout her - pity, hat , love, or any other emotion!).
3. Too much magical items!

I have other thing to say in great dtail - I'll write about them later! Remember, this is just my opinion. This is a great game!

GO TOB GO!

Hello,

Did it take you some decent game hours or was it kind of short (like Heart of Winter)?

Whoops, sorry I didn't see your reply to my post.

Did you think Heart of Winter was short? Just curious.

Yes. heart of Winter was way to short. Paid $60 for it for 10 hrs. Paid $40 for Throne of Bhaal, and was definetly 40+ hours. heart of winter was fun but just too damn short to be worth that munch. They are making a downloadable dungeon for it though. Free too. WOO HOO! TOB is, no doubt, better IMMHO!

GO DWARVES GO!

Yea, I finished TOB, and had a blast. Of course i was playing with my great mage party, 5 level 12 warrior/27 mages plus a cleric/thief. SO I was whipping out dragonsbreaths, timestops, spell sequencers, devas/planetars, and many others easy.

And some of the fights were hard, thank god. they get kinda easy after a while. One of the battles of the Seal in Watchers keep was tough, the final villian was a toughie, plus the kronies.. (Damn fallen solar healing everyone), and The statue Baalspawn was a bugger before I figured out her tactics. So some great battles.

But with a mage, which I consider the strongest character in the game, its alot of fun. Run into a enemy party invisible, cast a spell sequencer (greater malison/emotion/confusion) followed the next round by a Spell trigger (triple sunfire) PLUS have a chain contingency on so that if they hit you, 3 Wilting Horror spells go off. You can clear a room with 1 guy in a couple rounds LOL.
I blasted rooms with this combo so much my computer couldn't handle all my spells blowing everyone up and would slow down SOOO darn much.
And If i cast a timestop first, I can throw the sequencer, the spell trigger, then run out of the room and cast a death cloud into it LOL. Try it sometimes, it takes a while to prepare your spells, but when i can clear out a room of demons and fallen solars with 1 guy, its well worth it.

I do wish they had a sequencer spell for the clerics, heck mages get a bunch of them, why not the clerics?
