Hrm...
In my first game I played a paladin and did Nalia's quest. She gave me 10000 gold. Then my next 2 games I played a fighter and only got 650, but I assumed that was because I got the keep. But then I played a mage and only got 650. I'm very angry. Why did that happen? Do I have to have Nalia, IMHO the worst NPC, In my party to get the full amount? If so, that sucks! If I get my game reinstalled, this will actually matter.

That happens to me too. If you have her in the party she gives you 10000 otherwise only 650. GRRR...

I've never actually worked out how you get the full 10,000GP either.
It seems to be hit and miss whether or not I recieve the full amount regardless of which dialogue options I choose. It is possible that you don't get the full amount if you ignore her request at first in the Copper Coronet? Or possibly the quest has some timer that measures how many game years it is before you bother 'freeing' the D'Arnise Keep. Anyone know for sure?

Nalia wants some sort of a way out of Roenall Hell. Her best course of action is to have you as a snarling, growling watchdog protecting the Keep. If she can't have that, then she'll run away from home and live a live of adventure. And if she can't have that,.....she's not very happy, and gives you only a pittance of gold (on top of all the very powerful stuff you looted from the Keep already).
