Which would you say is the best version of the Manual? I've heard some say that the Clay Golem is best (complete immunity to slashing & piercing damage)

Wish someone could modify the manual into a book where you add (not replace) the pages as you find them so you could choose whcih golem you wanted to summon. Something like the book of infinite spells.

That has already been suggested...no luck though. Anyway, the Clay is the best. The resistances make up for the loss of damage and hp (iirc).

BioWare may have deliberately tossed the Juggernaut Golem in there to trip people up.....if you fall into the "I had to spend a bunch of money to upgrade this thing, so it must be better" trap, you lose one of the best summons in the game.

I tested the Juggernaut Golem against the Monks in Amkethran, and man, it sucked big-time. Actually, I should say that they sucked, as I was experimenting to see how many friendly Iron Golems I could pack onto 1 screenshot at the same time, so I had about 8 Juggernaut Golems running around. Also, due to the stupid "stoneskin" effect the Juggernauts have (when the holder of the Golem Manual gets hit 5 times, the Juggernaut dies), most of them didn't even make it into melee range before they dropped dead, without having taken any hits at all.

All i can say is that the juggernaut golem SUCKS!! seriously. After trying to take on kangaxx with my level 9 party (and getting my head handed to me on a plate several times) i decided to just stuff around the docks for a while and kill some innocent bystanders. so there i was casting verious spells on the athkatlan public when i decided to try the juggernaut golem out. It got killed by a gaurd after about 3 hits.

What??? Are you saying that Helm, the ever-vigilant, Lawful Neutral god of Order HIMSELF, would *CHEAT* to give himself a ToB item in Chapter 2??? I am aghast!!!

(No, not "a Ghast," dummy.)
