The dungeon you hated most in BG 1 or 2

I must have mentioned this a million times. But the dungeon that annoyed me that really streched my nerves that made me want to xplode was the one and only *drum roll* FIREWINE BRIDGE! (In case you don't know it's a dungeon filled with a ton of kobolds and constantly respawn after you kill them and with a few skeletons oh did I forget to mention an Ogre Mage!?" Normally I like dungeons with easy prey oh yes kobolds so easy to kill he he ho ha! I will tell you sorta a story version of it

I opened the door cost as clear and I signialed my party members Minsc, Xan, Edwin, Jaheria and Khaliad to follow me. I hid in the shadows and quietly walked and walked and walked and walked until I came into a big room. Never have I seen so many kobolds in my life there was atleast 30 maybe more maybe less but there was a lot. I snuck back and told my party members the news. Edwin being the smartest one came up with a plot: The new wand of Fireball or fire something like that (It's a wand that casts the spell fireball) Khalaid should charge in and use it at the kobolds dead center. Khalaid was obviously very reluctant to do it and asked "W W Why s s should I I I I I I I I do it?" "Because you fool you can take the most damage. The rest of us can't take as many hits as you!" Khalaid gulped and tried to be brave (if possible) Edwin handed over the wand of fire. Khalaid quickly ran down the hall. I didn't see what happened but i heard many thwangs of strings of bows. But soon after I heard a boom. Khalaid came running back and Jaheria immideatly cast healing spells on Khalaid. We walked into the big room. Minsc looked around and looked down at the squeaking hamster "Boo smells Kobold Barb B Q!" For once I agreed with Boo. There were 3 halls one north west and east. I noticed they were incredibly small. Can fit up to 3 people. I told my party to wait where they are. I concealed myself in the shadows once again. I went to the hallway in the east. I then stumbled upon a big group of kobolds once again. I went quickly as I could back and I heard a cry. I ran back and found Minsc and Khalaid killing off a few Kobolds. Edwin was injured but not too bad. "There are more Kobolds in the east! Edwin give me the wand" Edwin gave it to me and I ran back to the hall and turned a corner when I was surprised to find 6 kobolds! They were surprised as I am and I ran back and felt their arrows whistling above my head. Khalaid and MInsc took care of them. I had a feeling this was going to take a while. I sent Khalaid and Jaheria myself to the north hall and the rest to the east I planned that we would eventually meet up again. A few moments later I heard fighting and I thought thought the others could take care of themselves. The three of us went up into the small hall and we came to a another small hallway. I peared to the right and found a ogre mage. No kobolds at sight but then a arrow flew past me and almost hit my neck. I turned around and found another pack of Kobolds I used the wand again and kABOOM. The wand was out now useless and I Jaheria and Khalaid were about to kill the Ogre mage we charged but Kobolds came infront of him at least 6 kobolds came out they came from a seperate hallway. More kobolds were pouring out and shooting their arrows at fire at us. I got hit along with Jaheria and Khalaid. Khalaid fell quickly and I quickly hid in the shadows. Jaheria attempted fled down another hallway the kobolds chased after her and i quickly backstabbed one of the bastards. I caught their attentiton and swung my longsword at them. Jaheria quickly healed herself with a potiton and attacked the kobolds. We won the battle but we were weak. I went backt to the first big room where I went to before and Minsc Edwin and Xan were there. It looks like they were going to die of exhaustion at any moment. I gave Minsc all my stuff and hid in the shadows and took the equitment out of Khalaids dead body. We fled outta the firewine bridge. I was unhappy. I ressurected Khalaid and kiked him and Jaheria out of the party and made Kivan and Imoen join. (I can't recall but i found an ancient armor something like that.) We entered the bridge again. I hid in the shadows and searched the hallways alone. There was over 50 Kobolds all bickering with their bows. I came to a hallway that seems long abandoned and I tripped over a few traps. I met a couple of ghosts said something about the armor I had. I gave it to them and went back to my party and left the firewine bridge. Later on I came back beaten the ogremage and all the dam kobolds but it was incredibly hard since its hard to fight in such a small space.

P.S. I didn't include all the details if I Did many it'd take forever took me thousands of retrys to try to beat it gave up came back beat it!

i have to agree with you, the firewine bridge is annoying. i mean, tons of kobolds not worth s**t in EXP. points. if i recall correctly, there was a human mage too. the one who cast lighting bolt on me and killed my whole freaking party. or was he in that school. dont remember.

I hated the catacombs under Candlekeep. Stupid dopplegangers and ghasts. >=O(

Hmm oh yes its another one in BG 1 its when you were cent to the Candlekeep Catacombs filled with skeletons and dopplegangers.

At the time I had in my party Me (DUH) Xan Imoen Minsc Kivan Edwin

Hour 3 Catacombs
Another Doppleganger down. The party was weakend even though we have been adventuring together for several weeks now, we still have a hard time to kill those dam shapeshifters.

Hour 12 Catacombs
Just rested and I hid in the shadows it was a big room and in the middle of it were a lot of skeletons many were archers. From my previous expeirence from the Firewine Bridge I knew it isn't wise to go charging into a big group of archers. I didn't have time to count and quickly went back. Edwin said "Skeletons how many times do have to deal witht these incompetent foes! We should hire a bunch of fools to do the work for us!" "Ahhh keep quiet enemy of Dylphieer! Boo and I will charge in there and chop them to pieces!" "This is tottaly HOPELESS we are outnumbered out arrowed there is no hope we would get out of this place we would die and join these Skeletons!" "Shut up Xan you are not helping us out here. I suggest we destroy the skeletons. I am running out of arrows." I sat down and thought. I searched my pack and found a potion (of xplosion well its like the spell fireball I always keep em) "I got it. I will throw this at the skeletons and you Kivan take all the arrows you can carry and we head up north to the door before more foes come!" The group nodded. I saw the huge group of skeletons more than 20 and there are more and more coming in and out of the darkness beyond my sight. I threw the potion (or grenade) at the skeletons. The skeletons saw me toss it. In slow motion if flew above their heads and landed in one of their mouths. Kaboom the room shook Skeletons fell. Kivan ran like the wind and picked up all the arrows and I ran north. Kivan ran back. We opened the door and I saw 2 faces I thought I would never see! Eliminster and Gorion! Imoen immideatly cried out Gorion. I grabbed her arm and pulled her back. "Stay back these are Dopplegangers don't be so naive." "It's really us." Gorion said "Then how did you survive and end up here then I saw how you were killed by Sarevok!" "Yes my son I was killed by Sarevok but you see my soul was uh still alive I am now a ghost. I went to the catacombs and met up with you. Elimnster was um uhh adventuring here!" "Yeah right do you exspect me to believe "Father" that we all came by here by coicendence I think not. Show yourself FIEND!" "Damn Humanoids are not as naive as they use to be ATTACK!" They both showed their true forms. Another Doppleganger appeared so my party was against three Kivan fired his arrows and Edwin and Xans were shooting thier spells. But the one that posed as Gorion was the strongest he casted mirror image and haste. He came right to Imoen and struck her. Imoen fell to the ground and I grabbed her and told the party to retreat. The hasted Doppleganger left the other two behind. I ordered them to stop and kill the hasted one. Minsc swung his sword I slashed with my longsword. Imoen was stabbing with her shortsword and Xan and Edwin ran out of spells and attacked with their staves. the mirror image spell faded quickly but was doing heavy damage to minsc. The doppleganger swung one claw and narrowly hit Minsc but hit Boo. Boo fell to ground and wasn't moving much. Minsc saw this and went in rage. He swung his 2 handed sword i ducked but my longsword wasn't so lucky it got cut in half and the dopplegangers head got chopped off how high did it fly I do not know. Minsc in anger was swinging at everyone but he soon calmed down. Minsc picked up Boo. Boo was still alive but just barely. Xan said "Oh I should have seen this coming we almost got killed Lady Luck is toying with us next time we won't have such luck." "Shut you insufferable Monkey of a wizard! Your small head is filled with such hopeless thoughts all the time." Edwin said. Minsc and Imoen were hurt badly and I was afraid if we rest one of those dopplegangers will kill us in our sleep. I hid in the shadows and went back to the north door and stabbed one of them. One of them died and I fought one on one with one until Minsc and the others arrived in the nick of time killing the dopple.

Hour 15 Catacombs
Finnaly we are out of the damned Catacombs now we are in a cavern and just defeated a adventruing party. Our problem now is 2 Bassilisks. Look at them in the eye you turn to stone. I hate those the most. I was thinking of a plan I was by myself scouting. I led my party next to the cavern where the 2 basilisks were. I searched my backpack and found potiton of mirrowred eyes. "It would help us but last for a few seconds. Minsc as seeing you are the only capable fighter you go and defeat those basilisks." "Its hopeless the potion lasts for only 20 seconds and its hopeless to hope that Minsc can take down two Basilisks in 20 seconds." "For once Xan you are right." Imoen said. I thought for a while. "Xan I have an idea its not hopeless either that scroll you have. Scroll of confusion use that on the basilisks and try to cast your spell Blind on one of them. If they are both confused its perfect. We all go in and kill the one that isn't blind. Then quickly kill the one that is blind." "Oh its so hopel-"Kivan without thinking shoved Xan in the Carvan. I threw him potion of mirrowed eyes and Xan drank the potiton. The plan was working until one of them were not confused. Xan cast the spell but before the spell hit the basilisk. The basilisk petrefied Xan instantly I saw my hopeless friend turn to stone. I hope the basilisk was blind and we all made our attack. We slew the basilisk quickly and slew the other. I used the scroll stone to flesh on Xan. Xan shook the stone off. "I am ALIVE probaly there is hope after all!" We finnnaly left there

I obviously struggled a lot and left out a lot of details since I couldn't remember most of them. But I hated that level and skipped many of the monsters
