Do you want your THACO high, or low? I've read the book on AD+D and am still confused. Please help me on this.

low. Thaco is an acronem for To Hit Armor Class 0 ( zero) The lower your thaco the easier it is to hit your opponents.

It is confusing. A +2 sword will IMPROVE your THACO by 2 points, which means it LOWERS your THACO by 2 points!
