Who is your favourite computer game (or PS, I really couldn't give less of a damn) character? I personally REALLY enjoyed Bao Dur and the KOTOR crew, especially Canderous, as well as Jaheira and Aerie. Well fleshed out (especially Canderous if you follow through with him) and intricately designed, with great voice acting, these creations of Bioware are amazing.

Jon Irenicus owns all. He's character, his voice, his muscles...

If we are talking about any game system, my favorite would probably be Golbeze (sp?) from FF2 (or FF4 or whatever that game is). He was probably the first really evil bad guy that ever interacted with my group (most games had a bad guy, but you never really encountered him until the end of the game when you would beat him). Golbeze was just plain dirty--he a was big, dark armoured, powerful, evil badass with meanacing music(it helped to set the evil mood at the time). Then he became a good guy and ruined it all.

If we are only talking about computer games, then Irenicus would probably be my favorite. He is also one mean s.o.b. who likes to torture people just to get his kicks. Plus, he wears a mask. Anyone with a mask is obviously evil

Why do people find Irenicus so compelling? I'm actually pretty curious about this, as he currently leads the pack.

What about Sephiroth from FF VII? I remember reading a game magazine (online?) where they asked for people's favorite video game villains of all time. Sephiroth was ranked #1 by the readers (not by the magazine themselves). From my own memories, he did seem pretty cool. Very mystereous and interesting. As a side note, Sarevok from BG 1 was also rated highly by fans. I think he's pretty sweet too but I played BG II first and so missed out on some of the Sarevok mystery from the first.
