I'm doing a quest for the morag tong and I have to go get the name of some dark brotherhood thingy from a guy in the Foreign Quarter. Now he wants me to get rid of this guy in front of his shop (actually I don't know if I need to do this for him to tell me but hey! I'm a helpful person ). So the guy won't leave until he finds an acting troupe. How can I help him?

Also for the morag tong, I'm finding webspinner threads for Hlaalo. I've found about seven already in Ald Sotha. Would the others be scattered about other daedric shrines or could they be anywhere? I actually haven't been in many shrines; I find them irritating. Prefer dwemer ruins .

Finally, I recently got a bounty on my head and the authorities picked me up. I paid the fine but when I checked my pack, I found they'd taken my boots of the apostle as stolen goods! What's up with that?? The oracle gave them to me after I found them for her!

Thanks

1. go talk to uncle crassius about a new play. make sure you get the book " the lusty argonian from him. then go talk with the guy in front of the shop about the new play. after that go talk with the shopkeeper about that guy. after that talk to him about dark brotherhood.

2. yes, you can talk to Eno Hlaalu about that. you can get the quest for this. you MUST complete this quest 2 ranks before the highest rank.

3. because they think it is stolen, where did this happen? if so, go to the nearby imperial legion office and search for a chest named " Evidence " unlock it and your goody is there.

Well Hlaalo doesn't tell me anything, he just says if I find them I should bring them back. So are they in daedric shrines only or could they be anwhere? I know there's 27 of them, I've still 20 to find.

Well I reloaded and set them on the ground before I spoke to the guard again so they didn't take them, but I did think it was very weird they would think they were stolen when they were given to me! A redoran guard took them from me after I rescued Sarethi's son.

Sometimes, when you've done a killing for morag tong, the journal will say " noone dared report me ". If you keep those writs you can use them later if you do another crime. That means you don't have to pay fines or go to jail and I think you will keep your stolen items too.

Kakero,
Apparently, you are not allowed to link directly to to the faqs on gamefaq anymore.

Really? I tried that once and they said the writ wasn't the right one. Although it was one for a person I hadn't killed yet, would that be why? I do have a couple of 'used' writs on me, I might try that if there's a next time.

Anyway, I'm not sure what you mean Kakero when you said

I mean, yes I have stolen stuff, and I'm not complaining that that stuff is taken by the guards, but my boots aren't stolen, so why are they taken? I mean very few things were taken, just a few scrolls and potions and all my rubies and emeralds (they seem to take gems regardless of whether they're stolen too - most of mine came from dwemer ruins - and yet they didn't take the dwemer coins I had). If anything I would have thought they'd take the Chrysamere that I'm not planning to return . And I wasn't picked up for stealing, it was for killing some guards in Bolvyn Venim's house.

No, the writ can only be use for killing that specific person, and you item will still be consificated even with the writ inside your inventory. in other words, throw the writ away after killing that person
when you steal an item from anyway at anytime, some item with you is mark as been stolen too, yes, that's a sad fact.

Well... you are probably right about the writ thing, but I know that one time I tried to break into a house, I was caught by a guard.

At that time I had 5 writs in my inventory ( 4 done and 1 to do ) and the writ thing came up in the choices. I selected that and the guard removed the 4 writs and said that everything was in order.

I'm allmost sure that the 4 writs was of " noone dared report me ", but if 1 of them wasn't, wouldn't the guards have been all over me long before I tried to break into that house.

Who knows, maybe it was a glitch.

yes, if you have any writ with you, go break the law and you'll have the option to show it to the guard. depends on what crime you make, if you kill a person wrongfully he'll say wrong writ but somehow if you are caught stealing in the act he'll accept the writ. strange no?
