Well, IMO, there are no such things as "good" parties or "bad" parties...I'd say the more balanced the party is, the better off you are.

It looks as if you have a well-balanced party. The Dracon fighter's breath attack will also help greatly. Also, the bard is a must to get the best use of those instruments...plus she can train in lockpicking as well. (Don't worry about pickpocket; if you really want to do some stealing, pick up Myles as an NPC in Arnika.)

The only thing that concerns me is your lack of a mage. In this game, especially early on (Arnika Road), a mage can save a party with the area affect spells such as Fireball (very few monsters resistant to fire). If you don't use a Mage, build up your Psionic as soon as you can to get the Insanity spell and the Ego Whip spell. Only trouble is, those only work on certain kinds of monsters. (I.E., they won't affect the Savant droids because they're machines and have no mind.)

So when your samurai gets to Level 5, start building up that magic, and fast! Get the Light spell first off and start casting it over and over to build up your fire points. On next level up, get Energy blast. As soon as he is able, get the Fireball and Magic Missile spells as well.
