How long does it takes to beat the game? I mean all the way from the start with doing all the quests.. 2 weeks? 1 month? in real time

Depending on how many of the sub-quests and how many of the non mandatory areas you choose to explore anywhere between 40 and 150 hours I would say.

As far as "game time" (as opposed to real time) goes, I find that it takes me 10 days per party member to get everyone up to the cap and then beat the game. (Probably longer if I was soloing, though.) So figure on 50-60 game days, subtract the approximately 10 days spent Resting, and you're looking at 4 and a half days of real time. Now that I look at it, that doesn't seem right......4 1/2 days? Hmmm.... oh yeah, there's all that time spent in Travel, too, and I don't know how to account for that, so I'll just give up.

Err, it's now day 117 game time and I've just entered Baldur's Gate and exploring the first sector of the city.
But I have completed all outdoor areas, save Ulgoth's Beard, Durlag's Tower, and the little area between BG and UB

Don't worry, there's no time limit that we know of. The only thing resembling a deadline is that in BG2, somebody posted that they were on their 300th game day, and for some reason their PC went hostile to the party and started killing everyone. We (Ironworks in general) couldn't decide if it was a measure to set the time limit at 300 game days, or just a really funky bug.

Anyway, you're only on 117 days. Don't mean to sound belittling, but what's taking you so long? Are you Resting after every map screen or something? How close to the EXP cap are you? I know where everything I want is, and I don't get much entertainment value out of the quests (done them all umpteen times already), so I just do the EXP-heavy quests, collect all the Tomes and other crucial items, whack the Big S, and I'm done.

Well, I don't rest at every map, only when party members get fatigued or when my mage or priest run out off spells.

I spent quite a bit of time travelling back and forth between the Cloakwood Mines and FAI (to seel stuff) - one trip takes 72 hrs iirc

Apart from that I haven't purposely dallied.
