i have an archer that when i look on his stats it says Fallen archer instead of jus archer why is he fallen?

Does having the fallen archer chap in your party effect your parties reputation at all? cos i know that Drow Cleric woman (i ferget her name!) takes 2 off your reputation if you take her onboard.

You lose your archer (ranger) status (just like paladin status) if your reputation falls below a certain number at any single point in your career (I think it's rep 6, although I'm not entirely sure). The result is that you lose your special abilities (like hide in shadows and called shot) until you redeem yourself. You only have one shot (no pun intended) at this, the only way to get it back is by completing the Ranger's Stronghold quest. If you've completed it already, you will remain a fallen ranger for the rest of the game.
