question about armor/weapons(spoilers)

where can i get items like ankhegs and those dragon scales things u get from the umar hills quest forged into armor
same goes for the equilizer and gesen bow blah blah....
im assuming its all at the same place but i dont know where

also i know how u guys hate it when people go off topic but i asked this question a couple of days and it was never answered and its allready made it to the second page so ill ask again

how does pausing work in multiplayer..i just dont get how both comps get paused when one persone presses it or what...i would find out for myself but i have no one to play with yet just wanted to know

gensen bow: string is in the bridge where you have to find the murder of those skins. the bow is in spell hold i think

the armor and ankehg can be forged in the docks (lower right of the map) you try to find the smith (inside a house near the thieves stronghold)

about the equalizer (you need 3 pieces) first is in irenicous dungeon (1rst stage) the other is in the underdark (mind flayers) and im not sure with where is the last one. i think you have to get it with somebody. dont know who.

All these items are made by Cromwell.

Ankheg Plate - Kill an ankheg in windspear hills and get its head. Take it to Cromwell.

Fire/Shadow dragon armour - Kill Firkraag or the shadow dragon, get the scales and take to Cromwell.

Equaliser ingredients.
1. Pommel Gem - found in Irenicus' mistress' room in Irenicus dungeon.
2. Blade - Elder orb in Beholder city in the underdark.
3. Handle - Table next to the Ogre slave in Mind Flayer City in the underdark.

Crom Faer ingredients.
1. list of ingredients (not sure if this is essential, can't remember where it is)
2. Hammer of thunderbolts - hidden mind flayer city in sewers beneath Temple.
3. Girdle of Frost giant strength - Demon Knights in Kua-Toa area of underdark.
4. Gauntlets of ogre power - somewhere in planar sphere i think.

Gesen bow ingredients.
1. Shaft - cant remember
2. String - Golem room in the 2nd area of the Asylum maze.

Wave +4 ingredients.
1. Shaft - Cambion in the planar prison.
2. Blade - Prince Villywotsit in the sahuagin city.

There's a brief write up on multiplayer pausing in the manual.

Basically the person who starts a multiplayer game assigns 'permission' for other players to pause.

the scroll that is needed to make the crom faeyr (the true name of the crom faeyr scroll) is located at the temple ruins...

when you slay the pet shadow dragon you'l get it, it is essential I believe to forge it in the Crom Faeyr

Correction: the Gesen bows shaft is in the bridge district and the string is in spell hold. not essential information, but just a friendly correction

If you don't care to travel to the Windspear Hills yet there is another way to obtain an ankheg shell.

In the bridge district there is a free standing house with a few steps leading up to the door. Inside you will find a small home, sometimes with a woman and a child present. If you don't spend far too long time in there they won't sound any alarm. Inside there is a small trapped box. The trap is a non-damaging Stinking Cloud, so don't fret if you can't disarm traps. Inside the box there is an ankheg shell. Perfect for a suit of ankheg plate mail.

It's a long time since I've multied,so I'm not sure if I'm correct, but I'll give it a try. [img]smile.gif[/img]
If the person that hosts the game press pause, the whole game pauses. If you, as only a player, press pause, the whole game will also pause.

To sum up:
Host of the game assigns permissions to players if he wants them to be able to pause (or enter store, talk to people, commence traveling between areas,...).
When someone hits spacebar, the game pauses, but it can't be unpaused immediately, a few seconds must pass. This is to avoid situations when multiple players hit spacebar in the same time.
