I have seen many posts with some pretty cool character combinations. But has anyone tried running a party without rerolling your attributes?

I started a party this way, and man...it is a blast! You really have to rely on tactics and strategy to get through the game.

I still rearrange some stats to make my characters more effective at what they do...but I did not re roll. I ended up with a cleric with a 12 str...which really limited her armor. My female ranger could not use a composite bow, and my Mage really suffered with his hitpoints! I know, it sounds like it sucks...but it really is fun. Your characters start developing unique styles and play...you force yourself to play to your adventages. For example, my cleric only wore leather (she was too weak to carry anything with metal armor) and used a staff and sling.

Try going through a game without a fighter with a 18/00 strength, or a mage with an ac of 10! Also, for an added challenge, set your hitpints/level off of the max!

One you beat the game with your standard party, try this. I bet youwill really learn to love your party even more.
