Actually I don't see this as posing a problem. I would imagine that our higher level enemies will have beefed up hit points, 200+ etcetera, higher levels of immunity, much better saving throws, possibly only effected by the highest level spells or only certain types, and only damageable by 4 or 5+ weopons etcetera, and only taking minimal levels of the high end damage. Just my thoughts on it
