Why do I ever want to change into the Slayer??

I assumed it was gonna be an invincible shapechange but it isnt
far from it
I do better damage etc when in humand form duel wielding swords
So of what use is it?
(and I have completed BG2 and never found the need for it)

Just wondering if I'm missing something that's all [img]smile.gif[/img]

Surely if i can change into the Slayer shouldn't the char then become invulnerable or something....its a incarnation of Bhaal right? So it should be super human.....hmm
