You might want to rethink the music bit Dan. Legally you'll be required to pay FOUR groups to broadcast music online; ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and RIAA.
Under the new RIAA fee rates, if a webcast had only a single listener -- the webcaster himself -- he would be expected to pay RIAA $160/year for streaming music to themselves! (Except that there's also a minimum fee of $500 per "channel" per year.)
And that's not counting the ASCAP, BMI and SESAC fees which can each amount to hundreds of dollars a year as well. (The minimum annual licensing fees for ASCAP, BMI and SESAC are $288, $299 and $232 respectively).
You could be looking at a minimum of 100$ a month (and probably a lot more) JUST for the online broadcast fees.
