The Oracles don't really want anything. They are really there to provide you with information and to open a passage to the west in the cave that was previously not there. You don't want to touch the fire because it will kill you quick. You MUST talk to them about everything on the talk list or the passage might not be opened to you. I hope this helped. Best of luck.
