Firstly, that certain item increases a certain stat by 15 (if we're thinking of the same certain item)
Secondly, the barbarian should use greatAXES. They look dopey, but they are by far superior to greatswords.
Thirdly, Bozos, why are you giving the paladin only 10 dex? I would go with 12.
