welcome to the forum!
this is the right place to ask such a question...im not very good at multiplayer as my connections is very unstable but i dont think BG2 requiers that much bandwidth...i would say that a party of six could work...maybe it wouldnt be so fast, but try it out (but you could take advice from someone of more experince in these areas)
