Hi Charlie, Shadowkeeper is really good. I have had very few problems with it. If you decide to add items to your inventory, be sure that they are class acceptable, if for instance you put a long sword into a mages third weapon slot, CRASH. A mage only has two weapon spots. Father Bronze posted that he had problems triclassing(?) a character, but I made Nalia into a fighter/mage/thief for fun one time, and accidently created one bad mama. Maybe it was a kit problem with FB's game, I'm not sure. But I use it all the time, and get favorable results. Just watch what you edit, and don't delete the original saved game until you run the new save game to make sure it runs alright. Good editing. Oh yeah, did I mention that you can edit characters that aren't in your party yet, and that if you have items that you have imported from somewhere else, that you will see them too, when you are editing inventories. Gatekeeper wouldn't do that.
