thats kinda the point. some people do it for the challenge, some people cos they hate all the NPCs, and other cos their bored with the character interactions and have heard everything already/

anyway, most times one character who happens to specialise in a certain situation does most of the work anyway. nalia is my dragon slayer for instance. yes, really. the annoying do-gooder. the one with time stop, improved alacrity, lower resistance, pierce mage, magic missile, horrid wilitng, summon planetar, mordakainens sword. (read :- basic dragon slaying spellset [img]smile.gif[/img] )

so in soloing the challenge is adapting your character to the situation rather than moving the best one forward.
