Yeah eventually a conversation will happen where they say something like How weak Khalid was and how you are not like that.
And Jahera will warn you to let the girl down gently mearly remind Aerie that you two are just friends and she will get all upset and then you and Jaheria can kick it.
Personally the easiest way is to just get rid of Aerie thus there is no competition and so everything is fixed !.
