Alira,
just a suggestion.You could take your saved game files and save them in a folder to your desktop. reinstall the whole game and replace the saved games back in to the game,that should work fine.I would do it in steps though first uninstall IWD and than re-install it after that than replace the saved games.
only thing I can think of.. good luck
