This thread is a brilliant idea.
When I first came to the board, I had never visited anything like it before. I had no idea about the possibility of spoilers, it never even occurred to me. Fortunately I lurked for a bit and picked up the etiquette before I ever posted. But if I had jumped right in the first time I visited I could have easily made a horrendous blunder, even though I would never, ever, spoil intentionally!
