Kinda depends on a lot of things - what your Paladin excels in, what you WANT him to excel in, what level he is (for example, if he's got a high constitution and he's past the level where he gets HP bonuses for his con then you would want to consider giving a point in that.)
Because the Paladin's a fighter the most necessary things for him are: strength, constitution and dexterity (and wisdom, as I like my paladins to be wise,) so think about maybe dropping intelligence or something.
